Introduction

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of MetaVideo ("we", "our", or "us"), an AI music-to-video platform available at metavideo.io. By creating an account or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

The Service

MetaVideo provides AI-powered media tools including:

• Create — turn uploaded audio into short AI-generated music videos
• Preview Generation — generate reference or preview images for the visual direction of a video
• Song Maker / Lyrics Workflows — create or prepare source audio using text, lyrics, or reference inputs
• Audio Editing Workflows — extend tracks, create covers, separate vocals, or use related tools when available

These services are powered by third-party providers and models, including KIE.ai, APIMart, and other AI or cloud vendors we may use from time to time. Feature availability may vary by subscription plan, credit balance, geography, infrastructure availability, and provider rules.

Accounts

You must provide accurate and complete information when registering. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. You must be at least 13 years old to use MetaVideo.

Credits and Payments

MetaVideo uses a credit-based system. Credits are consumed each time you use a generation feature. Credits are available through monthly subscription plans or one-time credit packages.

• Credits are non-refundable once consumed
• Unused subscription credits expire at the end of each billing cycle
• One-time credit packages do not expire
• Payments are processed by Stripe and subject to Stripe's terms

AI-Generated Content

Your inputs: You retain ownership of any original content you submit, such as prompts, lyrics, uploaded audio, reference images, artist photos, logos, and other media you have the right to use.

Generated outputs: Music, preview images, videos, and other outputs generated through MetaVideo are produced with AI and cloud tooling. Subject to these Terms, applicable law, and the terms of our underlying providers, you may use generated outputs for personal and commercial purposes.

• You may not use generated content to train competing AI models
• You may not claim that AI-generated content was created entirely by a human in contexts where disclosure is legally required
• You may not submit or use copyrighted audio, images, likenesses, logos, or other materials unless you have the rights, permissions, or licenses needed for that use
• If you upload a person's photo or request visuals based on an identifiable person, you represent that you have the right to do so and that your use does not violate privacy, publicity, biometric, or portrait rights
• AI outputs may not be unique and may resemble outputs delivered to other users
• Our providers may have their own rules or retained rights as set out in their own terms and policies

We are not responsible for third-party claims arising from your use of generated content.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Submit content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, or infringes third-party intellectual property rights
• Use MetaVideo to generate content that promotes violence, hate speech, fraud, impersonation, exploitation, or illegal activity
• Upload audio, images, or likenesses that you do not have permission to use
• Use MetaVideo to create deceptive deepfakes, unauthorized impersonations, or non-consensual intimate or exploitative content
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the platform's APIs
• Resell or redistribute MetaVideo's services without authorization
• Use automated tools to generate content at scale in ways that violate these Terms

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules without prior notice.

Intellectual Property

MetaVideo's website, branding, interface, and proprietary technology are owned by MetaVideo and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers any MetaVideo IP to you.

Disclaimer of Warranties

MetaVideo is provided "as is" and "as available." We make no warranties that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that generated outputs will meet your specific requirements. AI-generated previews, music, and videos may vary in quality, style consistency, timing, or prompt adherence.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MetaVideo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or business opportunities.

Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to MetaVideo in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Termination

You may close your account at any time by contacting [email protected]. We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms, non-payment, or at our discretion with reasonable notice.

Upon termination, your access to generated content stored on our platform may be lost. We recommend downloading your generated previews, videos, and audio files before closing your account.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by a prominent notice on the platform at least 7 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to the courts of competent jurisdiction.
